Pathfinders is one of our church's most effective outreach programs for children. Your church can't afford to not highlight your Pathfinder Club on its Web site. On your Pathfinder page you will want to start by explaining what Pathfinders is, for those who aren't familiar with it. See the example below: Do you enjoy camping? Biking? Canoeing? Learning new skills? Are you an active young Christian who loves Jesus and wants to spend time with other young Christians? Then join Pathfinders. Pathfinders is part of a world-wide, scout-like organization sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Kids in grades 1-4 (Adventurers) and grades 5-10 (Pathfinders) are welcome to join our local club. Next, you will want to list contact information, weekly meeting times and other events, staff names, and resources such as the Pathfinder Law and Pledge, Pathfinder Song, honor requirements, or other classwork. You can also create photo albums?showcasing what your club has accomplished. On your Pathfinder page you may also want to put forms for parents to download or fill in online, such as a permission form. You can also create links to your local conference Pathfinder page or even the Pathfinder 2009 Camporee site, as well as Pathfinders Online (sponsored by the North American Division). Don't hesitate to showcase all your club is doing! And be sure to tell parents about your Pathfinder page?it can become a very important resource to them when they can't find that permission slip you sent home. *Feel free to email us your netTip ideas. Your information may be featured in an upcoming newsletter.* [image: Resources & Ideas] *Adding eAdventist Search to your site* eAdventist is the software the World Church uses to manage its member database. You can create an eAdventist Search on your site that allows visitors to look for Adventist organizations such as churches, schools, hospitals, conferences, Adventist Book Centers, etc? They can even search by pastors names. eAdventist Search can be incorporated into your site by using the IFRAME tag. This tag is supported by all current browsers. With it, you can fully customize how you want the search to display on your site (just add parameters to the end of the URL) and set the width and height (displays best at 600 x 800).
